COVID-19 is spreading
The disease caused by coronavirus 2019-nCoV has been officially named - COVID-19 (from COrona Virus Disease 2019). New outbreaks of disease have emerged in South Korea, Iran, and Italy [1]. In particular, the source of the infection in Italy could not be found. This may be due to the fact that in some people the infection is asymptomatic. According to preliminary data, about 20% of those infected have a severe disease and about 2% of infections are lethal [2]. The most vulnerable in terms of mortality rates are people with chronic illnesses and the elderly. One of the problems is the lack of research data on the pathogen - coronavirus 2019-nCoV - in particular its stability in the environment and behavior in the human body [3].
